About your therapist
You deserve a therapist who actually specializes in OCD.
A clinician trained specifically in the treatments that research shows work — and who understands what living with OCD really feels like. I also see clients navigating anxiety, trauma, intrusive thoughts, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
Jackie Ward
LCSW
OCD Specialist · Tyler, TX
My approach is outcome-driven while working through the lens of compassion and curiosity. My intention is to walk alongside clients in their journey while guiding them towards more psychological flexibility, a better understanding of themselves, and an overall better quality of life. Having lived experience with OCD means I bring something to the room that no training alone can teach — a genuine understanding of what you are up against, and an unshakeable belief that recovery is possible. Because I have seen it from the inside. I also recognize every person is unique and no two experiences are the same, thus treatment needs to tailored for your specific needs.

Having experienced firsthand how much the proper treatment can bring relief, I feel an obligation to help others with similar experiences — because there is immense hope.

Treatment with me
I want treatment to feel collaborative and honest. Here is what you can expect working with me.
Outcome-Driven
Treatment has a clear direction. Every approach I use — ERP, I-CBT, ACT, CBT, IFS — is chosen because it produces real, measurable results, not just temporary relief.
Compassion and Curiosity
You will never be judged for your thoughts. I approach every session with genuine curiosity about your experience and deep respect for the courage it takes to show up.
Psychological Flexibility
The goal is not to eliminate every anxious thought or difficult situation— it is to help you relate to your inner world differently, so you feel like your in the drivers seat.
Your Whole Life in View
We are working toward more than symptom reduction — better relationships, a clearer sense of self, and an overall quality of life that feels worth living.
